According to SBTET & APSCHE AP POLYCET 2018 exam syllabus and question paper pattern is confirmed as below. Candidates can check below all the details required and can get ready for the entrance exam for the academic year 2017-18.
The examination (POLYCET) will be of 2 hours duration consisting of only one paper as per the syllabus in the subjects of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry of X Class (S.S.C.) Examination. March / April, 2018 as prescribed by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh./Telangana.
AP POLYCET Syllabus: The syllabus of mathematics, Physics and Chemistry for POLYCET is the same as that of SSC Examination of March / April 2018 conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh.
Structure of the AP POLYCET Question paper:
The Question paper consists of 120 questions with a multiple choice of four responses for each question with only one correct response among them.
- 60 Questions in Mathematics for 60 Marks.
- 30 Questions in Physics for 30 Marks.
- 30 Questions in Chemistry for 30 Marks.
The question paper booklet given to the Candidates shall consist of 120 multiple choice type questions in three different sections with four responses given to each question out of which only one response is correct for the given question. Candidates shall mark the correct answer in the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) response sheet by shading in Dark the appropriate circle with 2B pencil only. They should not use under any circumstance Ball pen for this purpose.
Candidates are requested to answer all questions. All questions carry equal marks. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
All questions are of multiple – choice type. Each question will have a stem and four answers noted against as 1,2,3 and 4. Out of these four, only one is an appropriate answers to the statement given in stem and other three are distractors. A few sample questions of the type in all subjects are shown here. The stem is given both in Telugu and English. The distractors are also given in both languages whenever necessary. All correct responses (Answers) to the questions must be entered by shading / darkening the circle / oval on the OMR responses Sheet provided separately for this purpose.
